I noticed not much has been going on in the 4x4 section lately so I thought I would throw some old but new news out there. Last year a new off road park opened close to our shop. Gob Hill in Atkinson, IL there website is www.gobhill.com They offer around 220 acres of riding area. Some great water holes, ponds and trails. Over the winter they added a new motocross track. The park use to be an old strip mine. They also have a new fee schedule this year. Here is a clip off there site. I have heard rumors that they are planning a mud bogg their sometime this summer but can't confirm that at this time.

We would like to inform all of you that the Atkinson Motorsports Park is now re-opened. Our hours are 10am til dusk Satruday and Sunday. Prices have changed: Adults now only $12 and children $6. DNR stickers still needed to ride and are $11 for Illinois residents and $18 for out of state residents, and those are good for a year. We do offer yearly passes now which cost $150 for a single person or $375 per family. Please call us before you head out if it is raining or has been raining, we would hate for you to make a trip out and then have us not be open due to weather related issues. Park is owned by Tom and Vicky Enyeart who also own Shabbona Creek Rv accross the highway from the park. Tom and Vicky have a lot of future plans for the park check with them for all the details. So if you need any RV parts they can hook you up. There place is also only 4 miles from mine and I can help you out with your quad parts.
