My dad, my brother and I might go riding at Ki tracks. My friend always goes there with his dad and he said they love it. My dad doesn't really like to jump, where me and my brother could go on the jumps all day. My question is, would my dad have anything to do there? Could he just roll over the jumps on the track? He can still give it full throttle and slide around turns and things like that, but he barely gets any air on the jumps. By looking at the movies on this site, it looks like there is a big wide open flat oval place to ride, I think he would like that. Is there anywhere else he could ride at Ki besides the track and the flat oval? Thanks.

Rolling the jumps are fine. But, it would be best for him to wait until others his own speed are on the track. We do have some trails but nothing like FVOR.

Thanks, we are just always looking for new legal places to ride, and your track looked pretty cool from the pictures on this site.

We had a great time in the Mud on Sat. we both got stuck several times but it was great. Did find out that the grizzly is built like a Tank Jeff tried to go up one of the hills and the Mud was to slippery and he ended up jumping off the grizzly as it rolled down the hill and ended up on the wrong side (wheels up) we figured it rolled about 20 to 25 feet to the bottom. had to pull the handle bars back up and will have to replace a few things on the handle bars but it did start right up and finished riding the rest of the day. Sorry no pictures the camera did not survive one of the trips thru the mud pit.

Just a few more questions. Are there any age restrictions on what quads you can ride? How would a stock 400ex do on the mx track? Do you allow camping at the park? And do you have to have an Illinois sticker to ride there, or do you just pay the $15 to get in? Finally, if you have heard of it, how close are you to three fires scout ranch? I think it might be pretty close.
We might be heading to ki this saturday (IMG:http://midwestatvers.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

Anywhere you go ride there response will be "follow the manufactures recommended age policy". You should have no problems with your stock 400ex on the track at all. There is no Illinois sticker needed as it's a privately owned park. I've never seen anyone camping in the lot and don't think Ed/Justine allow it. Never heard of the scout ranch (IMG:http://midwestatvers.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Just ridden at KI enough times that I thought I had some helpful info for you! While it's possible I may show up there this Saturday, I really think my son and I will be hitting Fox Valley for a change!

Ride safe!

Thanks for the response (IMG:http://midwestatvers.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Fox valley was the other place we were thinking of going to this weekend. How many trails do they have and is there a track at all? How much money is it to get in? Sorry about all the questions guys, I've only ridden in wisconsin so far.

No problem, glad to help out. While I don't ride a sport quad anymore, I did prefer KI's track over the one at FVOR. Cost to get it is about the same I think. While neither has that much trail, I think Fox Valley has a bit more and some fun hills if you should desire....I stay away from them (IMG:http://midwestatvers.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

Check out Fox Valley Here
