Ok well I don't even own any guns but did grow up with them. I am planning to teach my kids to shoot and take classes how to handle and own firearms when they get older.

my point is more aimed at the way the chicago politicians make this out to be a criminal to own a gun. since we have a govenor who is trying very hard to be "a leader" in gun control situations like this which happened could be a problem for home owners.

I think it's interesting that parents send there kid to a military acadmey* and expect them to get "better" behavior placing that kid with a boat load of others with the same problems. the bad part of all this is that a kid is dead because he didn't understand what he was doing is wrong. that training with kids starts at 2, not 12, in this day and age of "time outs" to many times kids don't grow up with the proper discipline and end up in a hallway facing someone with a gun.

just sad.
